Rock Garden is a creation of the legendary Artist, Mr. Nek Chand Saini. Mr. Saini gave shape to this visual masterpiece by collecting materials from all demolished sites around the city. The Rock Garden manifests itself as a 20 acre open air exhibition, where all artefacts made up of wasted ceramic pots, bottles, pipes, bangles, mud pot, tiles, electrical wastes etc. are kept. The project is a perfect example of REUSE of waste products. Rock Garden is the most visited Tourism Attraction in Chandigarh. The Rock Garden was inaugurated in 1976.

Here The thing made up of wasted materials are artefacts of man, woman, animals, huts, caves, bridges, man-made waterfalls, artificial trees, chairs, etc.
After Rock Garden We moved to Sukna Lake which is very near to Rock Garden. It took hardly 15 mins walk.
