This is my First Travel blog post on a place where I cried first time. Yes, its about my birthplace, its about Seondha.
As know Real India lies in the villages, My First virtual journey take you a place which is still unexplored but have a lot of potential. Or we can It’s still missing on World Tourism Map but have numerous types of attraction in single place to pull tourists.
Seondha, a beautiful historical town situated on the bank of river Sindh in Datia District of Madhya Pradesh. Sindh River is a tributary of River Yamuna. This river sided town having a legacy of spiritual, heritage and Wildlife. According to Hindu Mythology Four Sons of Lord Brahma named Sanaka, Sanatana, Sanandana and Sanatkumara have done their Austerity (tapasya) on this holy land. It also showcase the glory of princely State of Datia which belongs to Bundela Dynasty. Fort of Seondha is on the rarest one in India which situated on the river and it proudly welcome the river Sindh to town. People love to visit this place for one more reason that is Water Fall, where the river Sindh falls down. This place has been a epicentre from centuries due to it’s religious importance. Annual Cultural and Trade Fair held on San Kua (another popular name of Seondha) always pull thousands of tourists and locals every year in the month of Novemver/ December.
