Among all these fairs and festivals, Gwalior Trade Fair has its own identity, which it still maintains from more than a century.
Initially started as Cattle Fair in 1905, Gwalior Trade Fair (Gwalior Vyapar Mela) now one of the main attraction of Northern India. Today, It has emerged as Biggest Fair of Madhya Pradesh. The Fair not popular in India but also attracts International tourists. People from all over India visit this event not only for shopping but also to experience the diverse culture. It is spread over an area of 104 acres and divided into several ‘blocks’ and ‘sectors’. Sellers from all over India participate in this trade fair to show its art and make from business from it. It is held in the month of January but from 2017 it is also held in June month also. Folk Dancers and singers give their performances in every evening which reflects their respective culture. Sectors like Electronic and Home Appliances, Automobile, Art and Craft, Sports, Health, Food, Clothes and appeals, Furniture, Stationery, cottage industry, leather goods, luggage, pottery, plastic goods to metal wares etc participate in Trade Fair. Gwalior Trade Fair is the confluence of Culture, Tourism, and Business.

Duration: 1st January to 15th February And 1st June to 30th June
How to Reach:
Airways: Nearest Airport is Gwalior (20 km) which is directly connected with New Delhi and Mumbai.
Railways: Gwalior Railway Station is directly connected with all major cities of India.
Roadways: You can reach Gwalior by bus or taxi from anywhere. Direct buses available from Agra, Mathura, New Delhi, Jaipur, Indore, Kanpur, Jhansi, Khajuraho etc.
